Love this thread. I'll never own a Raptor and certainly not one this impressive.

Don't sell yourself short. When I got out of the Navy in 1997 I had no formal education, two sets of civilian clothes, $600.00, an old GMC Jimmy and a beat up old surfboard - that was the sum total of my net worth.

In the realm of Raptor builds, this one is pretty tame but I appreciate the compliment / sentiment nonetheless.

looks like a pretty awesome buld man but i dont understand what some of these upgrades do;
1. that solid steel brace and cantilever system across the middle of the frame rails?
2. that other brace brace that looks like small adjustable arms of some kind?
3. how does your exhaust not leak since it seems to be mounted pretty solid to the frame?
[is there a flex joint somewhere up front?]
4. isnt that air pressured bumpstop just indicative shocks could be valved stiffer near end of travel or something?
5. do the new camburg uca and lca add travel or just strengthened?

1) The steel brace is to prevent torsional frame stress as well as front to back shear - the stock mounting point for the rear shocks have been removed, the cantilever brackets also cap those holes.
2) the billet brace is part of the ICON bumpstop kit. Simply provides torsional (outside -in) rigidity when bump contact is made - a tad overkill given the primary brace but one is custom the other bolt-in.
3) no flex joint but the front several mounting points are traditional. This same setup is on Dave's truck with no issues so far so time will tell. Sounds killer though - very stealthy.
4) the rear shocks do have an internal bump zone, the extra bump kit is simply insurance against frame damage. Not really needed if running an empty bed but if carrying a payload it will come in handy.
5) ICON UCA - stronger than stock and adjustable. Camburg LCA - stronger and allows me to run two (2) 3.0's per front wheel. This provides similar capability of an 18" LT kit but without the extra track width.

Update but no pics...
I spoke to Dave, they are waiting on the front fenders. The glassworks guy has been tied up with Baja so we are expecting them end of this week or early next. Then fitment, paint and KHC's in house photog is going to take some high-res shots of the finished product.
