Default Transmission issue

Hello, My ford f150 raptor 2020 has the following problem: when you shift gear from the 7th to 8th it has a slight jump. Shifting from 7th to 8th is not smooth. It is the same in Sport mode as well. We checked transmission but the issue still remains. Could you please tell me what is the problem?

We're going to need more information on the truck, like mileage. What do you mean by "checked transmission"? Did you check the fluid level? How often has the transmission been serviced? It could possibly be slightly low on fluid or it's self destructing.

Some of those earlier 10r80's were found to be problematic. I'd take it to a dealership, you should still be covered under warranty if I'm not mistaken, and I'd insist on them fixing the issue before the warranty expires.

You say fluid is okay, but did you check it correctly? There is a specific temperature YOU MUST get the trans to before you check it to get a valid reading. I would have the transmission serviced since it has over 40K miles. New trans filter and fresh fluid. Only then can you rule out fluid as your current fluid (even if at the right level) could be old and tired and in need of a freshen up. The whole factory recommendations of no trans service for 100K miles etc. is total BS in my opinion. You have no idea how hard the trans may have been treated before you got it, so until you 100% know, you cannot rule out dirty fluid.
