Got myself a Blue Flame Metallic Raptor at Leif Johnson Ford yesterday right as it got of the trailer. So nice seeing an odometer that reads 7.5mi when leaving the dealership. Will post some pictures after I get the good camera.

Haha that's true but anyone who buys a Raptor obviously isn't getting it for economy . My wife's uncle has a '11 Raptor crew cab and he said he usually averages less then 10 mpg and he couldn't care less because he loves the truck so much

Btw I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous! I love my truck but the kid inside me wishes I could get a Raptor. Who knows maybe some day down the road (at least I can dream right?)

I drive mine like I'm running from the Reaper himself - I get 12-14. On good behavior I get 15-17. The folks getting sub 10's either have something wrong or are driving around in T/H mode.

no idea but I like my lifetime 19.7 on my eco though. Those BFG AT tires are a bit of weight to carry around - I had a Dodge Dakota TRX4 for a while and I did goo to average 15 overall. That with the 3.7 v6.

I'm glad you like your eco. My point is that the Raptor's are subject to a lot of mis-information.

They do NOT get sub 10mpgs nor do they have weak frames.
