Towing with a Raptor
Given the towing specs aren't out on the new Raptor yet (at least, I haven't seen them), what kind of guesstimates can we make based on previous towing capacity?

Why on earth would you want to tow with a Raptor? Wouldn't that rip the hell out of the truck?
What? He was to tow with a Raptor TRUCK, not tow a Raptor? Oh!

I would expect similar tow ratings as the gen 1. You would dramatically improve towing by ditching the garbage factory leaf packs for a multi-leaf pack like Deaver, National, Alcon, WSI, etc...
the low rating is due to the soft suspension, which will again be the case.

Was wondering this too.
I would just be pulling a side by side.

I don't know if this means anyting, but on p. 35 of the Order Guide:
TRAILER TOW PACKAGE (53A)
Usage: Towing capability up to 11,100 lbs. Availability:
● Optional on XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch®, Platinum and Limited ● Standard on Raptor (does not include Pro Trailer Backup Assist on Raptor)
So, I would take that to mean the Raptor's tow ratings will be in-line with the other F150s. The Max Tow package does not seem to be an option with the Raptor.
The Pro Trailer Backup Assist is a stand-alone option on the 800A and 810A package (p. 25) and included in the 802A package (p.24).
One reason I passed up the Raptor last time around because the tow rating was significantly less than the other F150s (only around 6k lbs if I remember correctly). I don't need to tow regularly, but when I do, knowing that I can pull at least 10k lbs is more than enough for me.

Old Raptors were 6,000 lbs for supercab, 8,000 lbs for supercrew.
Towing capability up to 11,100 lbs this does not mean the raptor can tow 11,100 lbs. I would guess the raptor's towing capability will still be in the range of 6,000 to 8,000 lbs

That's why I put 'up to' in italics in my quote. Why would Ford bother with all the towing aids (Pro Trailer Assist, Integrated Trail Brake, etc...) if the towing capacity is limited? That's what has me hopeful it will be a bit more, but even if it's ~8k for the SCREW, that would be OK by me, though closer to 10k would still be preferable.

I'm guessing that too. There are a number of rear suspension differences in the Raptor that make up the limiting factors.
