TOO much is NOT enough

True, I forget he ripped off corvette and viper guys just the same...if it worked out for your neighbor, good on him. A quick search and there's more bad to read than good about the guy. That's the last thing I want to hear or read about a performance shop I'm courting. To each their own though. My point of the threads was to show that 2003 was far from the last time this guy had issues... Here are multiple threads...I'm sure you'll say "all a bunch of bitter guys." Oh well...yes older threads but your track record says a lot about your work...http://www.forzacentral.com/forum/th...ormance.17015/

it takes years to build a good reputation, and only 1-2 screw-ups (although it sounds like he screwed up more than just a few people) to destroy it all... and many more years for people to forget / forgive...
I can't afford any of his crap, but if I could, he'd be the last tuner I'd give my money to!

If the guy cleaned up his act and made right with the people he screwed over in the past, I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately no way of ever knowing though, and it really would be messed up if the guy was still in business making mad cash after doing such terrible things to some people.
PS The last place I'd spend is w/ UPR Products. If ya think Hennessey's a rip off, you'd be stunned to find how Joe Mainiero got his company going and how he ran it for about the 1st 10yrs. Last thing I heard about him was his 2nd arrest for battery, that time apparently on his own wife. He's a dirt bag in my book.
That will be fuel to the "angry" fire for many who think they got hosed and he got rich. Most have no idea how much money he had to start his business and most of those don't care.

I wonder if Hennessy gets his SUVs done by Tim. He has been building them for a couple of years. http://www.customautosbytim.com/RaptorSUV.html
225K is a bit steep.
65K for a raptor
85K for SUV conversion
=75K for a supercharger and some wheels!
What does the regular Veloci600 truck cost?

That's ugh interesting, where did they get the 3rd row seat from a 1990 econoline club wagon and wrap it in leather, looks horrible with the 2nd row having head rests etc.
