There's guy over on the 09+ section sayin you can't tow or haul nothen with a raptor I myself just have a f150 but think the raptors are badass. But there bashin on them come state your opinions. About this guy buying a raptor instead of a platinum. Tell him the difference. Just so it will be a fair deal.

The tow rating is less on the Raptor then the F-150 bc the rear suspension is softer bc it was built as a pre runner of sorts.

It can tow... just not as well. And on fast n loud the majority of the "cars" they were towing were chassis or just shells. Not much weight there... and who knows, maybe they added helper springs or air to that one.

Throw some 4.0 bumps in for towing and remove them for offroading, win-win.

Yes they are, however ive yet to see them using a regular f150. Your not going to tell me a 5.0 f150 will outpull a 6.2 raptor, as for the eco.boost motor buy at your own risk...

6,000 is the max towing of the 6.2L (Raptor)

7,600 for the 5.0 with 3.55
8,000 for the 5.0 with 3.73
