I successfully updated my Sync software a couple of days ago. Now, instead of the Raptor SVT logo appearing at start up on the main screen, I get "Presidential" and the Lincon logo.

Did I do something wrong? Anyone else tried this?

If its my ford touch you can change the background on your own. I wonder if you just didnt get a lincoln update in error. Does everything else function right?

Thanks for the reply. Everything appears to function correctly. To be clear, I am talking about the animated screen when the system is booting up, not the background.

I think you are correct that I have downloaded and installed the version with the Lincon logo.

Do you have any idea where the Ford Raptor version is?

Apparently this is a known problem, with no available fix that can be done by the user. I have been advised to go to a dealer to get it fixed. As the functionality appears to work OK, I will wait until the next service.

I had the same problem. Ford can't help you. The update has all the models in one file rather than different files for each car/truck. If you are good with a computer you can edit the sync update file and remove all the other models and just leave the Raptor file. You only need Windows file manager to do this. You don't need programming ability. I'll try to remember to look at my computer when I get home and give you more detail. You can also try a search in the forums because it has been explained before.

Someone on FRF had their kid modify the 3.7 patch so it works on 3.8. I used it to get back the Raptor screen at startup and it was very easy to use.
