Nice. I couldn't resist either. You can't beat that much power AND 22 mpg......

Not at all man. It was fierce. Almost too much for me. I never got the mpg I thought I would but mainly city driving and a heavy foot never helped. It was very smooth and powerful. The 6.2 is a different animal...it'll get a tune once these headers are in.

Yeah, I'll get the 21-22 on the highway, but in town, I mash the throttle WAY too much. What can you expect, I'm just a young little **** with way too much power at my foot. My lifetime 10k mile avg is sitting around 15......

Granted, that is with about 200 miles of beach driving. That sand is rough on gas. Ate more than my 36 gal tank just on the sand. Plus plenty of off-roading at other times.

I'd imagine the 6.2 is a rev-happy engine, while the Eco's have so much in the early range I barely touch 2500 rpm getting on the highway.

I just bought a new 2014 Platinum Ford F 150. I originally wanted the Raptor but after waiting 6 months and extending my lease three months on my old truck I had to pull the trigger and get something or I would be renting a car until the supposed shipment of Raptors came in that the dealership kept saying would be next month and then finally that for some reason they stopped production so there was no telling when they would come in? Even when signing the paper work I said maybe i'll wait. I been regretting ever since. Everyday I get in my truck I wish it was a Raptor and all I do is look up things that I can add to my truck that would make it more like a Raptor. I keep telling myself, just hang in there two years and I can get the new Raptor when it comes out, If it comes out? I keep hearing people say they most likely wont produce the Raptor again and others that say they just have to get the assembly line up to par with the new style F 150's and then they will start making the Raptor again but bigger and better with a V 8 super charge turbo ecoboost. If they don't I will be pissed. How could they not make it again with how popular it has become in only four Years! Some say they might replace it with the new Ford Atlas? I'm not too sure if I could still order a raptor this late in the year but if I could I would do it even if I was losing money on my resent purchase. If this is the last year for the Raptor they would probably hold their value and be worth something in the future, which is another reason Ford might not make them? Should I just go for it and Get a 2014 Raptor? Or hold off and gamble that they will make it again but bigger and better! Don't know how it could be better then it already is? Thoughts?

Just do it. I tried the add on game with my fx4....it never was a raptor regardless of what I did I was never happy. The thing about waiting for the latest and greatest is that there's always a new latest and greatest....if I would have kept waiting I would have never bought anything. I ended up even when I traded in for the raptor...and I didn't put any money down and had my truck about 9 months...ordering is over though...gonna have to find one on the lot or ebay.

Too many "ifs" as far as the Raptor is concerned for 2015 and beyond, I missed my 2011 and pulled the trigger on my '14 Supercrew with an order back in April, delivery at the end of May.

Decided to get while the gettin's good…..no Raptor for 2015, the 6.2's gone, and who knows if the Raptor is coming back, or what it will look like when it does.
