Raptors are great trucks, and if you want an SCAB (like me) it’s the only option for the shorter bed and wheelbase. My SCAB turns a much tighter circle than my son’s Nissan Frontier!

They can be hoppy in the back while flying over a railroad track though! A Raptor is “springy” but pretty much Cadillac smooth over minor imperfections while flying down the road. I love hitting potholes and speed bumps in my truck!!!

I would keep the current truck and buy a long travel kit for it. Theres kits out there that would easily beat a raptor suspension. And if you want it to look like a raptor, theres companies that sell conversion kits that make nice fiberglass kits. Fiberwerx has a very nice one.

I’m considering one of three things. Do I:
1) buy a new Raptor? They’re obviously amazing trucks. They look great, handle great. Likely the best all-around truck on the market.
2)buy a F250? Likely a Platinum. This truck is huge. Likely too big, but I do prefer the longer bed length. I’m not as big of a fan of how they drive on-road. Too floaty, doesn’t feel as refined. I don’t tow enough to justify a super-duty.
3) keep my f150 platinum? Upgrade the suspension and wheels/tires? This would get me excited about my truck again. This may be the smartest thing financially...
What would you do? Spend my money...
