Selling factory Raptor parts?
 

Hey y'all - I'm new to the forum and just ordered an '18 Raptor. I'm going to put a lift, some new wheels/tires, bumpers, and exhaust on it immediately. Any suggestions on best way/place to sell parts that came with? I'm not looking to store - garage to small. Thanks in advance.

The FRF forum is a good place to start. Why would you add a lift to a Raptor? If you don't plan to use the Raptor suspension why pay the premium for a Raptor?

Silver-Bolt - Thanks for the reply. I want to add a minor lift but preserve factory suspension, so I can get some bigger wheels/tires on there (35-37'). Was looking at 2017 Raptor Fabtech 4" Suspension Lift Kit. I'd look to sell the 17" beadlock wheels and tires, plus the stock F/R bumpers.

Stay far away from any lift kit for the Raptor You will completely ruin the suspension geometry. All you need is a coilover collar up front in order to run 37's and retain the factory geometry and travel. Watch the offset on your wheel choice. Stock is +34. Most running 37's are running +0 at the max. Anything in the minus range will give you issues.

Regarding wheels, the lower the offset the, the wider the stance on the truck will be, right? That's the look I'm going for but I don't want to compromise the suspension geometry, performance etc. Thinking 20-22's with close to 0 offset, but not negative, and 35-37" tires will do the trick. Do your homework carefully when it comes to suspension changes. Running 37's at the mall is much different than running them in the dirt. I recommend you spend some time on FRF and research exactly what is working and what is not. Wheels play a huge role is how high you need to go.
