Hey guys! Are any of you running aftermarket intercoolers? If so, which brand and how would you rate it as far as keeping Temps down? I'm on the fence between wagner and mishimoto. Any help would be great 👍

 

What are you trying to do? These new fluids are made to take the heat, In fact if they don't get hot enough they don't act right.

 

It's very Hot and humid down hear in South Louisiana. I added a tune and would like to get the most out of it. Heat robs a considerable amount of hp and tq.

 

Yes it does. I have not used either before so no help there. I would check with VMP out of FLA and see what they recommend I know on my GT500 these guys are the only ones to touch it with hardware. Venomous was the tune on it and my 2016. He is the only one I trust.

CV Fab makes a nice intercooler that's reasonably priced. I installed one on my 2015 F150 XLT with 2.7.

 

I got the CVF last month. With the cooler weather, i haven't installed it yet
