Because if (when) I buy them, I'm trying to figure out who will do the install for me. Seven hours is a real long time.
Realistically, you could get it done in 3-4 hours. I'm retired, so I took my time. After you do the first side, the second side goes a lot quicker. I prefabbed the brackets on the lights, and they weren't right, so I had to redo all that. That ate up some of the time.

FYI, mount the bracket to the truck, then attach the lights to the bracket. You can also precut your wires and have them ready so once you start the install, that will make it go quicker. And look at the manual so you have a game plan as to what lights hook up to the color wire you need for the right upfitter switch. It really was a fairly easy install.

Red, I'm also retired, sort of. I worked for NYS for 35 years, retired in 2011, but have been freelancing since about 150 days a year, so lots of time off. Problem is, I'm not talented at mechanical things and could never do those lights.

I did see a site where they sell the lights and a bracket for them. If you didn't have to make your own bracket, how much time would that have saved? Also, when you say prepare the wires, do the lights not come with the proper wires attached and at the right lengths? ( hope you don't mind all the questions. ). Ty

I didn't make the bracket, I just put it together backwards so I had to take them apart and flip them around. No biggy, it just took up time. You will need to get some wire to run from the lights to the upfitter switch and the ground. I bought the wire at Menards.

It really is pretty simple install. I'm not that mechanical either and I did it! You can do it.

Is there a particular product you use to make the wheel arches shine like that?

First updates in awhile.... Added the reflective distressed flag to the front and rear. Also ordered the Pedal Commander, which should be here any day now. I'll update everyone once I get it installed and tested.

I got the Pedal Commander on Friday, but didn't get it installed until Sunday. Woah! It does make a big difference. I have it set on Sport 1. I can't imagine what Sport 2 (race mode) is like. I got up to 100 really quick and I didn't even use the Raptor Sport mode!
