Raptor in the snow
Just took my 2017 raptor out in about 2 inches of snow today on pavement. I put it in weather mode, which automatically switches the drivetrain to 4A. It was ok, but I noticed that if you are not careful it can get away from you. I grew up driving in the snow so I am used to it.
just curious if any raptor owners on the forum who live in snow belts have tried a more dedicated bf Goodrich tire for snow and ice in the winter. I currently have my tire pressures at 40 psi. I was thinking that maybe a narrower dedicated snow and ice tire might be better.

I'm on my 2nd winter with the stock KO2's. They've been fine in the snow for me. However, when it comes time to replace them I'm going to go with Duratracs. The 315/70/17 Duratracs are a little lighter, look better and I like them bettter in rain, snow and mud.
FWIW, the sticker on the door jam says to run the KO2's @ 38 psi.I'd try that or even slightly less.

Yeah I've been running Duratracs on my Bronco for about 5 years. They aren't too bad when new, but get noisier when they start cupping or wearing uneven. I've got 18k miles on my KO2's and they are aren't loud but they make more noise now than when they were new.
