Default Raptor Regrets?

Iv always had V8 F150s but have always wanted a Raptor. Does anyone regret buying a Raptor with the ecoboost? Im afraid ill miss the sound of a V8. How dose the ecoboost feel compared to a V8 F150?

Are there any other things that people found out after they purchased that they didnt like about the Raptor prior to purchasing?

I got a 2024 Ford Rapor today and got a powertrain shift fault and a lit up wrench 30 minutes off the lot.

Default The 3.5 is a-ok

.
I've got a 22 Raptor with a 3.5....the 4th 3.5 I've owned.. All have been flawless..I have no desire for a Raptor R.(and the $50k+ difference is not an issue)
To me, that gotta be v8 sound thing is WAY overplayed...seems to be sort of a mental block (for some people)...Life is too short.

On my 2nd Raptor and I'm never looking back. Great all around and Ford has taken care of the minor issues I have had without question.

Hello. Are you still experiencing this powertrain shift fault concern? If so, I would like to look into it on my end. Please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer.

I've had my 24 Raptor 801A (3.5L) for almost 5k at this point, and it is amazing. I had the 2.7L Eco in my 18 XLT and I loved it, but the exhaust on the Raptor makes the 3.5 sound very nice. Baja mode + wide open throttle puts a smile on my face every time

Waiting on my 1st raptor to come in. About 2 weeks away. I've had 4 3.5 EB. Went back to the 5.0 in between and didn't have the torque for pulling and the sound was the only benefit. Went back to the EB and never had an issues.

I bought my first truck in late 2021, a 2021 PowerBoost, and I loved it. I had a lot of issues with it, and I was kind of expecting it, knowing that Ford redesigned the functionality and added improvements to 92% of 2021’s total parts. What bothered me was Ford's inability to diagnose and repair my truck promptly. I traded in my 2021 PB for a '24 Raptor 801A. I'm hoping Ford resolved a lot of the issues that typically accompany a new product launch between the '21 and '24 models. Fingers crossed.

I don’t know, overly complex sure but I felt the same way about my previous vehicles. In 10 years people will have figured out all the quirks and issues and there will be repair guides for every situation posted all over the place. Built to last, nothing these days is built to last but all we can do is keep up with the maintenance and I don’t see why you couldn’t get a new gen truck to last quite a while. Only time will tell Speed Test https://vidmate.bid/.
