I actually put fiberglass raptor fenders on my fx4 and let me tell you they don't match up what so ever. back buy the wiper cowl they match up, in the middle the fx4 hood sits 1/8" lower then the fenders and then in the front were it starts to curve down the hood sits higher by a hair. so thank god for fiberglass and sanders ill make them flow together because I like the fx4 grill. to do it with a metal hood might be a little hard. but that's my 2 cents.

I saved a lot of money buying a damaged raptor hood and repairing it myself. I ended up painting the hood, fenders and bumper skirt all at the same time. Installing was straight forward, still looking for a bed to complete the job. I started just wanting to get the raptor grill. Good luck with your project.

I posted some new pics of the transformation. My XLT has been a work in progress.

I posted some pics of the raptor hood, grill, fenders, bumper skirt.
I got the bumpers first then the running boards.
Not all at once, it took some time.

The raptor bumpers are easy to get, since raptor change to a
More off road look. The raptor bumpers bolted up fine with the XLT fenders.

If your new hood doesn't fit exactly, you might consider its a work in progress and get the raptor fenders later. If you do that you'll need the bumper skirt also.
Good luck!

I ford parts, not after market fiberglass. Although ford hood and fenders are composite vacuum formed fiberglass. They fit well.
