does anyone know if the raptor hood will fit a regular f150?... really like the hood.. im pretty sure it will but dont really wanna put the raptor grille.. i can get the hoods pretty cheap from a local ford dealer but like i said, i think it'll look better with the FX4 grille.. thanks for any info.

TT FX4 - does anyone know if the raptor hood will fit a regular f150?
Fits, however, it appears that its contour is slightly different than the non-Raptor F-150 fender ...

What's "pretty cheap"?

... it'll look better with the FX4 grille
Will require some fabrication since the top mountings for the Raptor and regular F-150s are quite different. Though it definitely would be easier to adapt the F-150 grille to the Raptor hood than the other way around.

Default Raptor Hood

I found a raptor hood on craigslist, it had some damage on the left front.
I was able to repair and paint. It bolted up perfectly to my XLT.
I had to buy the vents from ford, because the vents I got from mcneil did not work for me. I got lucky and got the fenders from craigslist as well. I had to get a bumper valance, the mcneil valance worked. I ended up getting the raptor grill. And the fender inserts from ford. It looks like raptor owners change their bumpers and rims, Yep found those items on craigslist too. I painted the parts myself. Its primer, sealer, basecoat, clearcoat. Looking for the rearbed, next.
It is possible to bolt up the raptor hood, I have a 2010 xlt. Just two bolts on each side, the grill came in grey and matched the raptor bumpers. If you really like the raptor grill, find the hood. You might want to visit your local electronics store, they have remote control color changing leds you can mount behind the grill.

I think the thing that throws it off the most is the grill. If you were to change that to something else it "might" be better. The rear bumper is OK, but the problem is the raptor front bumpers don't line up to stock ford front fenders. The hood does not either. Also. what size tires did you put on those Raptor Wheels? You have to go at least 35x12.5x17 or the metric equivalent.

as said above it does fit but have a different bend in it.. it will not sit flush on the sides.
