Default Pedal Commander

I've noticed some of you have added the Pedal Commander. This sounds interesting to me. How many of you that have purchased and installed it would do it again? And are you happy with the results? Any drawbacks?

Personally I would be looking for performance gains mainly, although I might try the eco mode if I was going to take a trip with it.

Thanks in advance for any input you can provide.

I got one... love it. Must have!

Dude... Eco Mode?! No. Sport +1

I do put it in ECO-4 when I take it to a dealer/valet.

Ricky? Lucy?

But here's what I wonder, and I guess my wonderment can't be answered without actually trying it.

I'm noticing some real turbo lag, like a second if not two upon mashing the pedal and get-up-and-go.

Am I indeed experiencing turbo lag or electronic gas pedal delay? I tend to think it's the former as I've had a few cars with electronic pedals, most recently my Turbo Macan. While that too had slight turbo lag, as I guess all turbos do, not as much as I'm feeling now. If that pedal commander thingie would eliminate what I'm experiencing, it would be worth its weight in gold.

You can do the throttle reset procedure or do a KAM reset. Either one will reset the pedal limits. This will be something that you will have to do often so that you get the pedal feel back.

This is exactly what it eliminates. My brother installed Pedal Commander on his
Raptor and it is night and day. I couldn't even drive it in Sport + mode in the city because the throttle was so instant.

Like you said, it's worth it's weight in gold in this truck!
