Raptor-Like Ford EcoSport, Troller T4 Off-Road Debut in Sao Paulo
MOTOR TREND | OCTOBER 31, 2014
http://pulse.me/s/3244ka

"Ford EcoSport Storm Concept
Inspired by the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor pickup, the Ford EcoSport Storm concept is said to “convey strength and power.” The concept features several SVT Raptor design cues including the front grille with the large block FORD logo, while the Blue Storm paint is similar to the Blue Flame paint available on the SVT Raptor. The exterior paint is contrasted with black and silver accents including a graphics package. The Ford EcoSport Storm concept rides on 215/75R15 off-road tires. Black fender flares and a silver front skid plate emphasize the off-road look."

Me too. I am not sure why Ford would come out with something like this and play off of and dilute an image like the Raptor.
But you will also notice that this vehicle was NOT introduced in the USA. I think that the negative reaction here would quickly bury such a poorly thought out presentation.

I'd say a Ranger based Raptor would be a better seller.

Ugh. Raptor-like is right, Photoshop that trademark grille on to just about anything and it's "Raptor-like". lol

I dunno. I wouldn't mind buying one and modding the HELL out of it so I could blow the doors off AFTER people pointed and laughed.

I'm not a fan right now. Wouldn't mind seeing it with some aftermarket bumpers and a little more stance.
