I’ve had 2 F150’s prior to tihs and just picked up a ‘19 Raptor. Wow. This truck is amazing.

Nothing. I was worried about its towing capacity but that is no longer a concern, I ‘pulled a 24’ box trailer with my car in it. Total weight about 7000 lbs. I had no issues, the Raptor pulled strong and handled it well

Good to know on towing that trailer! Any difference in low end torque? I read another thread here where someone said his previous F-150 eco-boost had a little better low end than the Raptor. Just wondering if you had noticed anything around that?

I never drove a regular F150 ecoboost both of my prior trucks were V8’s So far I’ve put about 1500 miles on it and of that 600 was towing related. I did notice a low torque starting out if you are not getting on the pedal. I think part of that may be the 10 sp tranny. The thing shifts so quickly and so often that you are in 5th or 6th gear before you know it. It does have a ton of low end torque if you have it in manual using the paddle shift to extend the each gear’s pull. The paddle shift set up is awesome and a ton of fun

Absolutely love the maroon color! Local Ford dealer has one sitting out front and I drive by often as it's on the way home. I tell my wife I hope someone buys it soon as it keeps drawing me in.

OP - rumor has it the shocks are a little soft for towing with heavier loads - your thoughts?

Bob

That was my primary concern before buying. I tow occasionally and had heard stories of *** sagging due to soft springs. I did some research and watched a few videos from parts suppliers including CJ Pony Parts on fixes. So I bought the Timbren bumpstops when I bought the Raptor. Once I hooked it up to the trailer with the stablizer bars it sat just about level. The bumpstope wern’t even in play and No sag whatsoever. Of course, make sure you distibute the weight on the trailer. It towed strong and stable. Much better than I expected.
