Default New 2017 Raptor availability?

Based on historical production, what is the Raptor availability generally like? Will it be low production, hard to find, tons of ADM? Or will it be generally available/orderable at sticker or some ADM?

I just went through this ordering a 2016 and a 2017 Shelby GT350, and was not able to get an order into production after waiting 7.5 months. I'm interested in picking up a new Raptor, but I have no interest in waiting around forever and won't pay huge markups.

Hard to say for sure but the last raptor was hard to get ahold of for quite a while. They were all special order or the dealerships had waiting list for any of the ones they got.

and now some dealers have had GT350's sitting unsold, although they do sell quickly. But like the previous Raptor, they should be hard to get at first and then the lots will have a few sitting waiting on a buyer.

Yeah, I think that is going to be the problem. I need something before the end of the year. I would like something before fall really gets going, but I need my Taco for the roof top tent for an event in Oct. and I kind of think I'd like to flip it first.

In either event, I don't think I want to wait until sometime in mid-to-late 2017 to get something so I guess the Raptor may be out for now.

Just wait and you should be able to get whatever you want for a normal price. The new one isn't an SVT anymore, it's just a regular truck and it seems like Ford plans to make a ton of them.

The new Raptor is not a limited allocated vehicle like the Gen 1 Raptor. Any dealer can get as many as he wants to order and thinks he can sell. The order banks are open now and your dealer can submit an order today. Ordered mine on Friday the 22nd.

Seriously?

I can't get the local dealer to give me a price for a 2017, much less place the order. Guess I will be shopping around.

Do you mind saying how much you agreed to pay?

An 802A Raptor MSRP is exactly (to the dollar) the same as the Lariat build I put together. Not sure I can give up all that $ on the Lariat for the Raptor. Plus, I'm waiting to see the tow ratings on the Raptor since there is no Max Tow package.
