wait. what?
I'll never understand why people think plastering monster stickers all over something will make it cool. It's like the equivalent of the shocker stickers on Hondas.
I do like the truck overall.. just not the stickers.

Interested to hear the reasons why you chose the leveling kit vs the mid perch? Here is a thread that has some good information on the subject: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f5/wh...ds-pics-11645/ Also no one was hating on your truck, just suggesting that mid-perch was what Fox designed the shocks for, and that it was only lowered to conform to dot standards.
Not my cup of tea, but it is unique.

I don’t disagree the Monster stickers are a bit much and will probably remove those... If I wanted to seem like a douche then I have success some of the people on this site have worn out my patience here and trying to assist someone else whom I don’t know or owe is a courtesy and being put down for it, well its simply wrong, so it seems to me that since they offer no help and offer no solution moderators might step it up a little to edit comments and toss as*holes faster, but since the site changed hands it really has become more about making money than quality of conversation. So if your a good hearted individual and trying to honestly help someone then this so far has been a site to fall short lately. Since purchasing the Raptor I have met several other Raptor owners that seem more than willing to help and the younger guys more willing to listen. Its all about trying to support each other and trying to help each other from throwing money away on things that don’t work... So why I am asked did I do a spacer when there are perfectly good write ups saying don’t do it. Most of the write ups I read are they experience excess wear in there opinions and have done some sort of lift that was really for a F150 not the Raptor version. They can be made to fit and adjusted but most are between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of lift. This is really right on the edge and will result in excess wear if you spend time in 4wd. In the write up provided I have seen the pictures studied them carefully and arrived at some simple conclusions. They are indications of 4wd being used on hard packed ground and on the Roads, highway.. This is only a symptom and 4wd is really for loose traction areas and where the wheels are free to turn independently. When you turn the steering wheel one of the front wheels must turn further then the other. Vehicle tracking tells us the when you turn the wheels one wheel has a smaller arc than the other wheel. The pictures I see indicate this is the problem more than anything else wear caused by turning the wheels while driving where the tires have no give (asphalt, cement, hard packed earth) and so something has to give to make the turns and the next weakest link is the axle coupling. This would be common to see wear if you drive with 4wd when it should not be on… Now on to why I used the ready lift kit instead of the mid perch. As a whole the lower spindle is the key to your layout. Objectively you want to move it down to gain more clearance. The mid perch does this by compressing the spring to force the spindle down. This effectively is preloading the spring 1.25 inches and reduces the travel down by 1.25 inches. It changes the ride characteristic slightly but achieves the goal of adding some space in the fender wells. A lift block placed above the spring mount only changes the mounting point of the spring and does not add preload. This means the ride is exactly the same and the spindle moves exactly the same.. Either way the axle has the same angle and will wear exactly the same. DON’T DRIVE WITH IT IN 4WD WHILE ON PAVEMENT. On the newer trucks this will be compounded with the front locking axle reducing the ability to turn. This means one tire has to break traction while turning so it will tend to want to plow forward and not turn… Just my opinion and I like the ride this way I am old and want a Cadillac ride in a truck…..
Good luck.....

Honestly i think you brought alot of the
Negative comments on your self. When you start off a thread saying haters are going to hate and what not, your just asking for it. And then throw monster stickers on your truck and ask someone not to talk negative about it? come on bro what do you expect. Ndns

Mid perch still rides great and actually improves road manners in terms of the nose dive while on the brakes and body roll when in the turns. If you really want a good ride, ditch the rear leaf pack for a set of National's. It puts the rear suspension on par with the front and lowers the rear .75" so at mid perch the truck is dead even front and rear.

0.9% is for suckers!
post on a real Raptor forum, they will eat you alive. lol
Im not sure about "classy" in the Raptor section. All of these are trucks, my SuperDuties cost waaaay more than my Raptor and I've never started a post with "F**k you"... but hey, whatever works
