My AG Truck
New to the forum so figured I should share my experiences so far...
This is my first truck, so quite a change from tight handling hatchbacks and a Q5 that was lowered - but I have to say as an all round vehicle I am super impressed with the Raptor.
I live in Atlanta but had to buy the truck in St Louis due to availability / price - wasn't able to get the beadlocks due to supply shortage so found some on Craigslist as IMHO the cast ones look naff on Avalanche trucks. Speaking of which I was going to order Magnetic but the wife intervened and I'm very glad she did.
Modifications to date:
Wheel swap
Front window tints to 30
Stubby antenna
Rappy Graphics flag Ford badge
Coverking Ballistic covers (for the dog)
RPG 1.5" Perch collars
Had the perches installed last week - I am very happy with them, not only do they level the truck up but they also sharpen up the front end some - and particularly eliminate a lot of the dive you get under braking.
Still toying with the idea of moving to 20s, probably going to switch out the factory 3 fold bed cover and thinking about speakers as the stereo is a little weak.
I've put about 1500 miles on her and thinking of whipping her in for oil and filter - purely based on something I read about that being a decent idea, would welcome any input on that.
I will get round to listing bed cover and original wheels and tires at some point
