Question Looking for Ford Customer Service Rep

Hey all- does anyone know a Ford Customer Service rep that monitors this forum? I've had nothing but problems with my local dealer regarding a Raptor I recently purchased and I've gone all the way up to the service manager with no luck. I've tried contacting Ford customer service but the hold time has been crazy on both the phone and chat.

Years ago somoene from Ford service reached out to me and really helped me out with my 15 F150, so I'm hoping to find someone again... If anyone knows their username, please let me know. Thanks!

I've never had any luck going through Ford Customer Service on any warranty work issues. I call'em Ford No Customer service, and their reps are programmed not to get to the bottom of any serious issue.

Contact a close by competing Ford dealership and talk to their Service Manager or run by and see him in person. Ask him for the phone # of their regional service rep. Those guys go from dealership to dealership on a schedule, and maybe you can make an appointment. Ask his advice on your specific problem. Dealer service departments are not all created equal, and often Ford will authorize you to go to another dealership if your selling dealer is unable to solve your problem.

you do not have to return to the selling dealer for any warranty work, you can go wherever you please

Thanks for the info on the regional rep; I'll try giving this a shot

I actually bought it from a Carmax, but had it inspected and bought the Ford ESP by my local Ford dealership prior to purchase. That dealer is wihin a mile from my house and super convenient, although obviously their service is seriously lacking. There is another dealership about 25 miles from me, it's obviously going to creat logistical issues getting the truck there and back, but it'll be worth it if they can do something for me.

I'll report back.
There has been some sort of Ford representative here asking for VIN numbers. I'm sure that will help you.

If you ask me, it's an intern being asked to "work for Ford" but joining a forum and take VIN numbers to help out everybody.
I should be able to update this thread shortly with the user name. Something like FordCustomerCare.

Sorry, can't seem to find the few active threads they have been active in. Maybe later....

user Ford Motor Co. posted in this thread: https://www.f150forum.com/f129/plati...thumps-508549/

You could try reaching out to that user. Honestly I am not sure that it is even someone who works for Ford, but I don't see what someone could really do by impersonating Ford to get a bunch of VINs.

Thanks! it seems legit per the forums designation... but like you said- I don't think there's much to lose at this point anyway, it's not any info that wasn't avaliable on the internet where the truck was being sold... I sent them a PM, we'll see where it goes
