Local dealership BS
So I have been debating if I want to trade in my lifted 2012 EB FX4 for a raptor. I decided to go check them out today at a local dealership. MSRP was around 56k which I I figured, but had 10k added onto the MSRP bringing the total to 66k!!! The dealer told me 10k is added on because of the high demand of raptors and the truck being a SVT. i also asked about ordering one to my needs and he had the nerve to say they can't special order only intercept raptors that are being shipped to dealerships and the 10k would still be added to the truck. Extremely frustrated to kick off a search for a raptor.

just go somewhere else, buy your Raptor, and go show off at that dealer again!

I also concerned that when I start looking to buy one next year that no local dealers will give me any break. My most local dealer already told me that they won't go below sticker.
But even if they are asking that or $10k over, I still plan at throwing them a deal because it really doesn't matter what they put on window does it? We don't negotiate down from that, we should always start at cost and go up. Throw them a price anyways, worst they say is No.
If they don't deal, then I probably will have to go out of state.....

The local dealer near me had this same BS on the sticker of a new Shelby Cobra. Sticker was MSRP of 57K, but listed the fair market value on it would be 67K.

Inaugural TOTM
Yeah I thought about trading in my 2011 Lariat supercrew with less than 2k miles on it (yep less than 2K miles) a couple of weeks ago and the dealership would not budge on the price for the Raptor. Said they only get a couple in a year and they typically have no problems selling them. Told me I was looking at about $1k a month for a payment, I walked out.
