Default Livernois Motorsports 6.2L Raptor Cam Swap Results/Video

We developed our own camshaft grind and used a customer truck for testing a few months back. Performance wise, the truck arrived here bone stock. Appearance wise, it looked great with an aftermarket bumper & lights installed by the customer.

Baseline dyno numbers were 336 RWHP / 359 RWTQ

After the truck came off the dyno, we covered the front end and fenders in protective film and started to tear into it.

Livernois Rocker Brace Kit Installed Buy It Here!

In addition to the cams, we also added an Airaid CAI Stainless Works Longtube Headers, Mid-Pipe w/ Cats, and Catback.

The last few trucks with the exact mods (minus cams) made right around 370 RWHP / 395 RWTQ

The post mod numbers with cams, full SW exhaust, CAI and tune were 405 RWHP / 410 RWTQ.

Peak gains were 35 RWHP / 10 RWTQ, but up top the gains were much more.

Stock baseline vs. Post Mods

I drove the truck before it left. It sounds great and has a nice, mild lope at idle. Drivability is excellent!

Thank you

Regards,

Rick LeBlanc

Rick,

These are the 'duration only' cams correct? Do you guys have a more aggressive grind to go with your rotating assemblies yet? Any output numbers on the 6.6 package?

Thanks!

These have more lift and duration than stock, but are the largest cams we would put in a vehicle with stock pistons.

We've sold larger cams with our assemblies and I just shipped a 400ci stroker longblock with the FRPP cams for a ProCharged truck.

All of the stroker builds to date have been for power adders. I would love to see an 11:1, ported head, big cam N/A setup.

Sounds good! I actually just quoted an 11:1 longblock today... figured someone may have saw the post here and emailed.

Talk to you soon,

Rick
