I had originally planned to buy the beadlock-capable wheels, but part of me thinks I'll get bored of stock pretty quickly and will want to upgrade to something aftermarket. If so, that's a not insignificant waste of money.

What are you other buyers/potential buyers planning to do?

I don't recall it saying anywhere in the order guide how much either set of stock wheels weigh. If the beadlocks are significantly heavier or lighter than most aftermarkets, that would help sway me one way or another.

I removed the bead-locks from my order yesterday myself. Just something very "bland" looking about them to me and it was bothering me....so I changed it and saved $1200.

I'm kind of like you....If I don't love the standard wheels, I'll buy something else.

More importantly, I don't see myself taking this truck in any environment where I'd need beadlocks anyway. I have a 76 Ford Bronco and RZR 1000XP for that kind of stuff.

Going with the non-beadlocks for now.... I may get them powdercoated or go aftermarket at some point??

I've seen a few pictures of the new Raptor, enough to know which wheels are bead locks and which are not. I've seen a few pics of black wheels. My question is which option has the black wheels like some of the photos I've seen?

The ones that are the non-beadlock and are black are not available. The only black wheels available to order are the beadlock version. You can always paint a wheel whatever color you like.

There have been a number of show trucks that have the standard wheels, but in a dark grey, gunmetal or black finish. None of those are available to order. The standard wheel is brushed aluminum with black accents and the beadlocks (optional, ordered individually are black).
