The Gen I owner should get ahold of us for our 6.6 stroker kit.

Guy I work with has a Gen I with a Roush supercharger. If my Gen II ever gets delivered and Im done breaking it in were going to drag. Should be interesting

The SC might make it closer but that old Raptor still weighs a whopping 500 lbs more. Please post a vid if he's man enough to line up. He probably won't.

500lb difference is same cab to same cab. More like 300lbs between G1 Scab to G2 Screw.

Based on what I've seen, it matters which tune is in the Roush G1. They can be as low as 525hp and as high as 650hp - all depends on who they bought it from.

2010 Raptors came with the 5.4. The 6.2 was marginally quicker and still wouldn't have stopped "THE GAP BAND" from playing.

This guy will definitely line up. It'll be crew on crew so we'll see a fairly accurate representation. I'll be sure to post a video, if my truck ever arrives.

2010 Raptors came with both the 5.4 and the 6.2. 5.4 was only option at release date but by mid year the 6.2 was an optional upgrade. My 2010 has a 6.2. The 6.2 had a 101hp over the 5.4 but it wasn't much of an 'advantage' because the 5.4 Raptors were over 100lbs lighter depending on package upgrades.

I don't think it's a surprise that a truck at least 300 and at most 500lbs lighter with a 39hp/130tq advantage is quicker in an acceleration contest.

I'd be interested to see a G1 with 3.0s compete with a G2 in the dirt. The Factory Fox shocks on the G1 were garbage, wrong spring rate and less than optimum valving. That would be a true comparison of what each platform is capable of.

Not only is the GEN 1 physically heavier, in the video it even sounds heavier.

Gen II is better in every way. Just the facts...
