actually Johnny taco the raptor is staying , since I own it, and so is the GSF, the 48 ford sedan, and the 73 corvette stingray. But I am about to add a lx 570 to the arsenal. See when I do purchase Toyota products I don't bother with **** pot taco's. After that, a gt 500. Maybe after I get the lx 570 and the gt 500 the raptor will be paid off. LOL

Oh I had to chime in once I saw the LX 570 was brought into the mix. So, I just sold my wife's 2015 LX 570 private party for an even $50k. I listed it for $51,500 and it's KBB range was $47-52k. It took me 3 months to sell with little effort listing on the free sites. Out of 7 dealers, different brands, I was able to get trade in offers ranging from $42-46k. Ford dealers being the lowest and Toyota being the highest. The used dealer market shows the vehicle listing ranging between $49-54k in my area. So that said, we know the dealer markup range is somewhere around 14%.

Well it's no Raptor but it is one of the best luxury SUV's out there. Highly capable AWD system. Once climbed us over a steep icy hill when every other truck, SUV and tow vehicle couldn't make it. We've owned 3 and will likely buy another in the future once the family is back from extended living abroad.

thank you you for the reply. Do you own a raptor ?
and my other question to you is do you like the lx 570 better or the raptor ?
i currently have a 2017 raptor. I love the truck ! But I tried out a 2017 Lx 570 about 2-3 weeks ago and I have to tell you I was impressed. I really am impressed with the overall size, not to big, and it’s off road ability, I actually took it off roading a little and it did not disappoint ! I actually thought it felt more sure footed on pavement than the raptor.

The LX has better weight distribution since it's not designed for increased hauling capacity. Its AWD traction control is tuned for road and light trail conditions and the power is more equally distrbuted. The suspension is also tuned for pavement and comfort but if you put it in sport, 4 low, and raise the height it performs really well off road.
Hope that helps!

Rondiesel,
Traded in a 2014 GT500 802A (missing Glass Roof, Recaros and Convertible options) for the 2018 Raptor 801A. Most days where I live the GT500 didn't come out to play (too cold or wet, 10,000 miles after 4 years). When it was warm out the torque was amazing. The GT500 is a 10 pound sledgehammer. She aint light or refined but she makes that up in brute force. You have to know what you are doing at all times. The car was exhilarating each time you turned the key (for 4 years). 4 Years with no tickets or accidents so it was time to let it go, I was just tempting fate to hold it any longer.

I bought a loaded 2018 Raptor 802a new in Oct 2017. Actual factory MSRP was $70,500 with no markup.
It has 10,000 miles on it in like new condition and I looked it up and the trade in value was 62-66 on KBB.
Not sure how accurate that is in the reality of things but that's what it said.
