That would be directly in front of the IC, so I doubt it. The ecoboost trucks usually have a different bumper mount off to the side.

They did from 2011-2014. 2015+ the license plate is in the center of the bumper.

Interesting. I would think the front skid plate on the raptor would limit IC airflow quite a bit compared to the standard ecoboost F150 bumper.

Ford is trying to linit airflow to the intercooler in hopes of preventing condensate buildup

The 15 and 16 EB, also have active shutters infront of the IC, so I assume fords not worried about airflow... Im aware, the shutters are for helping bring up engine temps, in cold weather.

Grill shutters are now featured on many Ford vehicles. That are in part to help warm the engine on cold days. But their primary design is to increase fuel millage by forcing air around the vehicle instead of through. The more air that must go through the car, the more aerodynamic drag is created, so limiting this when the air isnt need increases aerodynamic efficiency and, in turn, fuel economy.

Bumping an old thread. Any issues for those who need a front license plate? Here in NJ we do. I wish it wasn't in front of the inter cooler -- are there other options on the stock bumper?

I think this is how they can be mounted to the front.. (ignore the crazy grille found the picture browsing an insane mods thread)

EDIT: This is actually someone who modified the STO N SHO bracket to move it the side
