Dislodged Clip

Hello all -- this clip was dislodged and wedged between the step rail and front driver side fender of my 18 Raptor. Any idea where it's from or where it goes? It's about 1.5 inches long.https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...bb8887fb0b.jpg

From one of the fender flares?

I'm not that clueless

I looked inside the entire wheel well and can't find anything missing; everything seems tight.

Plus all of the fasteners in the wheel well/flare are black.

I'm that clueless. Lol

That is a wiring harness clip, usually taped to a harness and inserted into a body panel or frame hole any where wiring harnesses run. It's possible it was left over during manufacturing. I use to find stuff like that all the time when prepping in new vehicles at the dealer.

This has really been bothering me so I scoured the web. It is indeed a fender flare clip. I'll have to track down where it belongs and reinstall it.

the ones at the front of the fender flare are yellow and white.

It's yellow. The pic makes it look white.

Does it seem odd that one could essentially fall out?

maybe if it wasn’t fastened properly in the first place

Looks white to me as well, could have sworn it was a harness clip. They use many different types.
