It sounded like good advice...but the writer seemed to think that the truck was being trashed, yet he didn't give any details on anything that broke and the truck got 16 mpg over pretty rough terrain.

I had the impression they didn't think they had the means to get him out at all even if he invested several more hours in it

Whats with the stats?

C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 6.7 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 14.3 sec
Street start, 5–60 mph: 6.8 sec
Standing ŧ-mile: 15.3 sec @ 93 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 98 mph
Braking, 70–0 mph: 202 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.70 g

How can you run 0-100 in 14sec but the 1/4mile ends at 93mph in 15.3sec???

It's them always trying to make ford look slow. In the 2010-2011 new truck guide, they estimate all the other trucks to be faster to 60 than the 2011 f150 with the 6.2, and the regular f150 6.2 weighs less than the raptor, not to mention it wont have 35s like the raptor. They just love to downsize fords numbers to make them look crappy cause they suck up to government motors. They'll never learn...

I believe raptors are governed out at 120... cant remember where I read that.

Car and river is stupid... sounds like that raptor did great... If that chevy pickup could do it then a raptor shouldnt have a difficult time... those guys are dumb.
