I would paint the hood and grill matte black and call it a day. Looks great!

Do you plan on making the headlights OEM black?

Thanks for the comments. I am
going to stay with the silver lights. Both original lights were trashed on the raptor but I actually had the silver led on my 15 that I had done an led conversion on. I put back the 15 original halogens saving me a couple grand on this one. I actually kind of like the different look

Question: now after putting this Raptor back together, do you think it actually deserved a salvage title? Would the shop rate and parts cost justify the branded title?

I really don’t see how this really rated a total. Other than you just crushed my baby and kept up the heat enough that they called it to keep a customer happy. I did the work myself but spent under 4K in parts
im sure they could have stacked on a few more pieces to crank $$ but that much I do t think so

It’s road worthy, it all lined up fine and drives great. I still have to deal with airbag light and front camera not working. Biggest issue of getting used to the 6cyl VS my 15 with a V8.

with 510ft-lbs of torque and 4.10s....the '17 should feel quicker/faster.
