Reason I ask -- I need a front license plate in NJ but would like to put it on the side. Was wondering if they pop off nicely and can then modify them to accept license plate screws.

The lower grill and both pads are all one piece. Pops right off.

After I looked closely I realized that. I'm going to pop it off and see if I can mod to mount my plate on one side and an American flag on the other side. I just want to make sure they are securely fastened.

There is a factory Ford bracket that mounts to the passenger side "Loaf". They come on Raptors headed to the middle east. Might see if Tasco or other Ford parts sellers can get one.

Not sure of the 2018 but the 2107 has sensor(s) behind one of them, search the Ford Raptor forum. From memory it's just the ones with the technology package and/or 802A package.
