I've has similar issues with my 2018. Took it to the dealership...no codes can't duplicate the issue. Driving it home it does it again. It's done it at multiple speeds, accelerating and at constant throttle uphill. It resets when you power cycle the truck. I noticed today the turbos are deactivated in the safe mode. Has anyone been able to get this resolved?

Where's the BS Flag I can run up the flag pole?

This is too funny, Joins and makes one post and never returns.

When you trade a vehicle in the dealer does not call you and tell you what they had to repair after selling it.

This thread should be deleted. I admire the yeoman’s work mods do and realize they need to be very liberal in what they allow. But If ever there was a clear cut case of trolling, this is it. Maybe we are at fault for perpetuating it by even wasting our time replying.

It always makes me laugh, sort of in the same vein, when all the 8 cyl mavens proclaim how terrible the 6 cyl is and they are waiting on the sidelines before buying a Raptor until the 8 returns. They may be old and in wheelchairs before that happens. They can put a Raptor sticker on it then.

And so what if something does break, is it the end of the world? You get it fixed and drive on.
i had one of the first VW Touaregs in 2004. That thing had more teething problems than a baby alligator cutting teeth, was in and out of the shop probably 20 or more times the first year. And I still loved it, awesome vehicle, and put 180k miles on it in 5 years before selling it.

BTW, it was an 8 cyl, yet my 6 cyl Macan pulled my trailer much better. Guess there is something to be said for turbos.

I am new to the forum, but seeing a thread like this, that is 2 yrs old, doesn't inspire me to stick around. Do the admins not patrol the sites here? They would have been banned on other sites, or at least show as banned in the thread.

I bought mine new. engine rattle started around 12k miles. dealer finally heard it and replaced timing chains and phasers at 20k. now it burns oil, they replaced valve covers. still burns, replaced oil pan. still burns a quart every 1k mi. now they are replacing a turbo at 42k. in shop about 10 times this year. was going to order a 2020 but they did away with the moonroof on the supercab.....

These threads usually fall way down on the forum, then someone finds it and brings it back to life, can be a good thing but not always.
