My wife bought a 2015 Expedition Limited last week. That Eco is nice!

Edit: to make this post more relevant - it pulls every bit as hard as my over geared 475/490 6.2.

The Expy is lighter but still very impressive. The Eco v2.0 is going to be a kick in the nuts.

What does his political preference have to do with anything I'm a conservative and didn't vote for Obama and will tell you that the new ecoboost thats being put into the Raptor will outperform the outgoing 6.2 hell even the current ecoboost can hang with the raptor. Theres no need for political BS

Well, if you took the time to look at my info you would notice I'm Canadian eh.
We tend to have a little wider field of vision up here regarding some things, and extremely high gas prices in comparison to most states definitely adds a bonus to ecoboost vs 6.2 debates.
In addition to the aforementioned performance advantages...

I was reading on Motor trend that in reference to the new Eco in the GT that it is 70% the same as the regular ecoboost. Just read thru and saw some say it will be 99% different, minus the displacement. Just seeing if anyone got info from somewhere else.

Well I will say the 1st Gen Raptor did look slightly awkward. Basically the size of the tires looked too small for the overall width/size of truck and huge wheel wells. A minor lift with beefy 37" fixes that.

As for the EcoBoost Raptor, I love my EB for the most part. Only down side is slight turbo lag when punching it and axle wrap issue when stock.

This new Raptor appears to be kick ***! 10sp tranny with paddle shifters on top of everything else! Prolly my next truck! Unless Jeep comes out with a small Cummins Diesel in the Wrangler with 8sp tranny...hehe.

We will know Friday most likely at the Chicago auto show. but it's looking like the jeep srt will get the hellcat motor that will be my next vehicle. The wife is driving a 2014 srt jeep currently but that thing with 237 more hp will be sick as can be
