If their was a V8 option, I can see a lot of people purchasing that more. Maybe?. I've driven the V6 TT's and absolutely love their power too. Wouldn't stop me from purchasing a 17' Raptor in the long run. Time will tell.

Which leads me to believe a tuned up version should get about 10-12. No better than the past versions badass V8 6.2L. What's friggin point in "Eco"boost then? Get your head out of your *** Ford... Your Eco is all boost...
My 2014 xlt gets 18 mpg in town driving w/ the 5.0. I didn't pay $1300 extra to get equal or less w/ the so called eco boost. If the eco boost is the greatest engine ever, why not make an eco boost 5.0 & make everyone happy? Don't get Ford making this change. And why no eco boost in any super duty ,if so great? I wish I could afford any 6.2 raptor, as I would get one. Ford has done a slick job on advertising the eco for uninformed drivers. I would never admit my eco boost was a mistake either,as so many do on this forum, after shelling out 1300 more.

Geno - I have never witnessed someone so obsessed with the "butt hurt" you repeatedly fantasize about in your postings. If you review your postings on how awesome the Ecoboost is and B-W chargers blah..blah..blah you reference your "butt-hurt" in everyone. It is concerning so I hope you get that checked out. Best of luck with your issue.

I have never met anyone who has ever cried this much about not getting what they want. Good luck with that problem. Every time you post that your upset about the raptor not getting a v8 it makes me laugh cause you gave me enough **** when I told you this was happening 5 months before it happened. Keep on being upset I get a chuckle every time. Thanks for you concern I will look into the butt hurt fetish for you. Im guessing you taking the time to post about it proves its getting under your skin

If you're building an expensive no compromise off road truck, an Eco V8 would fit
