What kind of boost are you running geno? That's awesome. Must be in the mid 500hp range to outrun the 6.4... I just hope these turbos are reasonably priced & if so they're gonna have to end up on my truck until the raptor comes out...

The EcoBoost will be Gen 2. Read the articles!

Sorry, the new turbos were not slapped on and then "poof" a new engine, with new parameters (specs) is born. Pretty sure you will not be swapping turbos from Gen 1 to Gen 2 with a 9/16 wrench in your garage during the afternoon over a 6-Pack of suds then tuning with your BullyDog or whatever. Little more complicated than that; coupled with the misrepresentation that some posters with claimed "inside" intel are squawking about. Oh, and maybe we can open up the tranny and add 4 cogs too?

Lastly to the MODERATOR: Since there is no 2016 Raptor can you move this entire thread under the more proper 2017 Raptor thread that is already started?

My truck sees 23-24 lbs of boost at 6000rpms on a mild tune from let

My turbos were swapped in a day with two guys. It was done on jack stand and not a lift. Lifts were in use at FR for other projects.Does it make it the exact same as the new Raptor that I don't know and geoff with full race would be better to talk to about that. He was Givin the turbos from borg warner (ford's supplier) and told they are the same as the ones on the gt and raptor and something else coming that I can talk about that is coming soon. Once that is released im sure people will get super mad. His ties with ford and borg warner are big. He has been given 3 free vehicles from ford. First a 2013 f150 a 2014 ford fusion and a 2015 ford Mustang all ecoboosts and has pre production turbos sometimes a year before they are available to anyone else. Take it for what it worth.

in case you were curious, Full-Race has been testing these parts on Geno's F150 .. theyve been doing alright
I have not once in 3 years on this forum had misrepresentation of one thing I posted. No squawking here. With that said my truck has 84k miles runs like a bat out of hell with these turbos. So knowing that all this was coming about 2 months ago I would call that a little "insider" info.

Nova99... I realized they are gen 2 motors!. What I was asking was what are the internal differences if any? Thanks for the kind reply!...

Geno.. thank you for the info you have provided. I will be looking forward to hearing how your truck runs after the tuning is dialed in... Have you had any dyno runs yet?

Curious to see what this second generation EcoBoost is all about. I've only heard it mentioned in press releases and can't find any specific info.
