What's the biggest difference you see and feel going from the F250 to the Raptor? I just got a '11 Raptor crewcab and love it! But I also liked the new super duty's!

Default 2011 SVT Raptor shocks

I have a 2011 Ford F-150 SuperCrew SVT Raptor that needs new shocks. Ford has quoted me a price of around $6,000 to replace them. Does that price sound accurate? I do have the original FOX Racing Shox, if this price is accurate, is there a cheaper version that I can use? I'm hoping to sell it pretty soon.

You can do it yourself for around $2000, Search for shocks on the interwebs for ASH24541 (18125), I have found new rears for $375 each, Fronts are a bit more involved to change, but if you purchase a spring compressor and a ball joint removal fork you can save $4000. You will need an alignment after front replacements.

you can have them rebuilt, check out forged offroad, or Texas shock works. they have an exchange program where they send you rebuilt shocks, you or your mechanic can install them, send in your old set as a core. it's definitely a hell of alot cheaper.

Bump for Forged Offroad, only thing I'll add is most likely you aren't going to see much of your deposit back due to inevitable corrosion on the shock bodies, but the replacement shocks look and work great.
