Raptors are the same width as any other F150. The suspension is wider, but the widest part of the truck is the mirrors, which is the EXACT same distance as a non-Raptor. Point being, if a regular F150 will fit, so will a Raptor.

I sold my F250 Platinum Power Stroke and bought a 2018 Raptor. I miss the torque of the diesel but really like the ease of driving the Raptor.

Everything I've read and reviews I've watched, aside from owning one, says they are 6" wider than a regular f150, thus the necessity for the 5 lights across the front and rear.

My current F150 has the trailer mirrors which stick out superwide, even when in the innermost position.

I may be going back to a 2019 Raptor. Going to possibly make a deal in NJ on Saturday to trade my 2018 F150 Platinum with 7k miles.

Any opinions on what I can expect in trade? My Platinum is in perfect condition.

The track is wider - a result of wider a-arms and a wider rear diff. The cabs are the same and the mirrors are the widest part. The lights look cool but they are marketing. Like I said, it's no wider than a reg F150. I have both.

My prediction on trade numbers...

It depends on the price of the truck and I hope the price is not over MSRP, DO NOT pay over msrp for a Raptor. Plenty of dealers selling them at msrp, and look at all the 2018's still out there.

Around here, if you are lucky, the dealers use kbb for trade numbers and that number on kbb is 45k - 46k. Depending on the dealer around here, they then pull some number out of the sky that is less thank kbb. I think this magic number is based off of mayheim?

Also, year end really is the worst time to trade as the kbb trade value are ridiculously low now and typically go up come spring.

But let us know the numbers if you did the deal or even tried to do the deal.

the trade after I got them to come up was a bit more than their website showed so that was fine. Paid sticker. Not a penny more except $195 for some etching crap thatís already on it. And then with a straight face they try to sell wheel and tire insurance. Lol.

A lot of dealers use Black Book for trade values. Sometimes it's nearly $2k lower than KBB or NADA.

Ty. I am aware of that. They also subscribe to Galves which gives constant updates on auction prices. In this case, as even at sticker they are probably making a lot on a new Raptor, they can offer a good trade on a desirable model.

My Platinum stickered at 68 I think. I paid 60. Had it since May, 7200 miles. Got 46,750.
