Default '18 Platinum vs '18 Raptor

Hey everyone, looking at purchasing a new truck. Trying to decide between the two. Was just curious if anyone has owned both and could give a good idea of the differences. I know the differences on paper for the most part, but just curious how that translates to real world feel and use. I have heard the raptor has more road noise inside, and it also has more body roll in corners. I just haven't had much seat time in either and wanted to get others perspectives. If I did go with the Platinum, I would level it and prob switch out the suspension. Thoughts?

If not Platinum.

If you want power and speed 2019 Limited with the HO motor.

If that's the case, go with the Raptor.

Had a 2017 Platinum and traded for a 2018 Raptor.
I had leveled the Platinum with bilsteins all around .

Raptor suspension is currently stock but planning on collars or geisers.

I don't miss the Platinum . The ride of the raptor is different but very comfortable. I think the seats are better.

Platinum did have massaging seats and ambient lighting that the Raptor doesn't.

It's more floaty in the corners but not to the point it concerns me. Interior noise difference is so minor , it doesn't bother me either.

I love the look and function of the raptor and that it's a little more unique than the platinum.

If I were buying again , it would be the raptor.

most help so far! Gold star to you ha. Thank you for your response. I am a little worried about how floaty it is in the corners. Obviously I don’t plan to track this thing ha, but I do have a tendency to drive a little on the fast side (my other car is a 911). I guess that’s something only I can determine after driving it. Thank you again for your response! Any other input is greatly appreciated!

My Raptor doesn't feel floaty to me. But I'm comparing it to my last 4 F150s which had leveling kits and larger tires.

Oh ok that’s good to know. I was planning to level and get bigger tires on the platinum so that’s good to know that kind of cancels each other out there. Thanks for your thoughts! Really tough decision! I hadn’t really thought about resale value...that’s something to think about!

I traded my 17 Platinum and got $7k less than I paid for it after 16 months . They hold their value well, Raptor should too.

Still can’t decide. Anyone go from a Raptor to a platinum (or vice versa) and regretted it? I’ve driven both and there are pros and cons to both.
