I'm getting ready to turn 222,000 mileson my 99 4.6, still running strong however she just started giving a blue puff of smoke from time to time, usually when it sits at idle for a period of time. I do believe I've got a bad valve seal.

We have an account with Jilly Lube so whatever they use. I think Valvoline 10/40. Change it every 5K miles. Service trans and coolant every 30K.
They are going to buy me a new truck pretty soon as this one is getting up there in miles although it still runs strong and is in really good condition. With the cats gutted, it feels like a new motor again and is getting a couple miles per gallon better. At least so far today and I put on about 300 miles.
