Ok heres the story. I was at the track last week and I see a new harley with 6.2 bone stock so of course I asked him to run me but unfortunally he already had a race set up with a 07 escalade with a 6.2 also stock. They both pull to the line green light goes and the ford looses to the escalade so then I run the escalade a beat him buy 1/2 a truck. Later that night the harley calles me out so we run and I get him by 2 truck lenghts. My question is the fords new 6.2 dissapointing on numbers. Buy the way I just hade a 5.4 2v with the basic bolt ons. I dont mean to offend anybody just curious on other opinions. ALL RACES WHERE AT THE TRACK NO STREET RACING. Just puting thats out there.

1/8 mile. They wouldnt tell me their times and my times r somewhere in my truck

The harley owner used to have a screw 5.4 2v with a tune and exhaust and I only beat him buy a fender my guess is the new fords have too much lag. Or too heavy

Or the tires were not sticky enough. The rubber on the ground is just as important as what is under the hood. He could have spun rubber for 5-6 seconds and lost it there.

Nope I spun off the line he didnt. He doesnt have the truck nomore sinxe he traded in for a 5.0 f150 so he text me for tomorrow at the track if I make it ill post the a vid
