I just got an 07 with the 4.6 what kind of CAI did you put on?

Although some don't like them, I put a K&N on because it was free...it works good though and I have nothing but luck with it...it is the aluminum version...I know they make a black plastic one as well...

If I didn't get this one, I was really thinking of putting on a custom hood with a true CAI via hood scoop....

Alright, I've been looking into the black plastic k&n. An active hood scoop would be sick if I can save up enough I'd like to look into that and a magnaflow exhaust dual same side in front of the tire.

The only place I could find the kit is at Summitracing. It is $3,099. They told me it is safe for 87 pump gas and you would have to have your vehicle tuned. You could do away with the fuel injection but that would require a new carb and probably intake. I guess it depends on your compression ratio if you would have to go up on octane.

if anyone know where i can get a set of longtube headers for a 4.6 2wd, let me know please
Check out Stainless Works 4.6 2v longtube headers. P/N FT05CAT. Not cheap but quality and support are excellent. They also have exhaust as well.

The trickflow kit is a cheap deal at $3k Considering it gets you alot closer to 400hp than any $3k supercharger kit would(you'd be lucky to see 300hp with the procharger kit), and it does it on 87 octane because you only need high octane with high compression or boost. Summit also has the trick flow tuner for about $400 if I recall correctly. I would bet hands down that they have a tune specially made for the top end kit.
