Rebuilding 5.4l. Help?
I am going to rebuild my 5.4 while i have the money to do it. It only has 140,xxx miles on it but i have decided to work on my truck instead of buying a car and being in debt. Money is not an issue. I have plenty saved up for a deposit on the car i was going to get. That being said i want to buy the best parts i can find. I know i want to bore it .40 over.
The things on my list to get are pistons, rings, rods, new crankshaft, valves, camshaft with everything to go with it, heads, gaskets, hoses, new intake manifold, throttle body, CAI, headers, injectors, fuel pump, new maf, spark plugs with wires, new radiator, and electric fan. I am sure i am leaving something out. Have i?
I plan to get 500 hp on just motor by the time i am done. With that said i want to build it so that i can add a supercharger/tubo in the future if i want too. Now, while i have the motor out i also plan to rebuild the transmission. Sadly i know nothing about transmissions so this is my weak point. Can you build a stock 2003 F-150's transmission to hold 500 hp and more if i add boost? If not what is my best option?
After i get all of this work done, i plan on buying bigger rotors, calipers, and pads to help stop my huge truck. Have i left anything out? I would rather buy everything online so i dont have to pay the local guys to jack the price up on everything. Do you know of any good dependable websites? Thanks for your help.

Yeah my bad. I guess I was thinking what I had in my F150. I spaced for a sec that my truck has the 4R100 and the 4R70W is the standard auto for the 150's.
