Default 4.6l acting weird when started

here is a video of my truck and the way it acts.. i dont touch anything or give it any gas at all....



anyone please tell me whats wrong with this thing.. cai, 170k, 2000 4.6l.. thank you

Check your alternator/ charging system first. See what your battery voltage is at and test that too

I know this is an old thread but my 99 F150 with the 4.6 was doing the same type of thing and put some stuff called Iso-heet in it which is supposed to remove water and it hasn't done it since.

check to see if your egr valve is functioning properly and not stuck a little bit open. This happened on a friends truck and caused similar symptoms. The egr being open reduces engine rpm and makes the truck want to stall but the computer is able to compensate and get it to idle after a couple seconds.

Does it want to stall when you come to a stop sign etc ?
