Post Need input please
Ok I just bought me a truck with the 5.4L 4x4 and now I am hearing like a scrubbing metal on metal sound and cant figure out what it is. You can hear it really good with it in park just at an idle. Any ideas?

How about more truck info, year, miles, trans type etc.

exhaust hanger??

Thats the only thing i can think of that would make that noise at idle that would be caused by vibration of the motor at idle.
