Default Loud engine noise when driving

I have a 2017 2.7 eco ford with 60,000 miles
i have had on 2 occasions in 3 months, a very loud noise presumably coming from the engine that sounds similar to when you try to start a car and the engine is already on which causes the starter to scream. It really hard to pinpoint the exact location because it only happened twice and it lasted for only a split second. It seemed to occur when im cruising and start to accelerate a littke. Any ideas? Thanks

Are you sure it's not just the "piped-into-the-sound-system" engine noise...and your stereo is misinterpreting something?

Is your truck 4WD or 2WD? If 4WD, do you have 4A?

Its not the sound system, its loud enough if you were driving next to me you would hear it.
