Diiling drain hole in intercooler

anyone got pictures of how they did this? Mine has a steel pan under the entire bottom - not exactly sure where or how drilling could be done.

Here's a thread talking about it. Page 5 has pictures

Are there any recent updates from guys who have done this? I have not had the issue in a while...the one time I took it into Ford they replaced a few spark plugs but pretended like they did not know what I was talking about regarding the intercooler.

I want to replace to full-race but then I see that has not solved problems. Has anyone eliminated this problem with both weep hole and catch can?

I still like the truck I am just careful when I haul a trailer. Hauled overloaded recently to New Mexico and back from central Texas and never had the issue, but I cannot help think my motor is going to blow up someday...extended warranty ends next year

I plan to add tune, new intercooler, and catch can in the coming months, as well as full spark plug replacement.

Drilled mine at xmas time 2015. Drove 150 miles in the rain last week back to Richmond and nailed it several times. No issue. I had replaced the plugs at 70000 miles gapped and .030 and lost about 1.5mpg.
