Question 93 F-150 4.9 idle too high

I have a 93 f-150xl 4.9 I just bought from a private seller. truck is in very good shape. Needed a tune-up which I did and discovered he had two of the plug wires crossed. I have them in right order now and engine runs without a hitch except the idle is very high. It kicks down after starting like it should but when driving it kicks up in neutral. I cleaned IAC valve and replaced a couple of rotted vac. lines. Any suggestions?

I really don't know much about the FI 300's but maybe check over on the Ford Six site. Lot of people there that really know there stuff.

yard,

Have you checked for codes? They should help point you in the right direction. Cleaning the IAC and getting rid of vacuum leaks is moving in the right direction.
What do you mean "when driving it kicks up in neutral"?

I mean the idle kicks up when I put it in neutral.
