I hear everyone saying how they are gonna build a 300 but they end up going with some small block v8. What i am curious about, has anyone ever really built a 300 6 for play because i really wanna build one and was wondering what gains and power. Also what should i do about the fuel system mine is efi and im just baffled with it- people i talk to tell me i have to get my computer tuned and all kinds of stuff. if i just get the head ported and polished and decked .030 and put a nice 272 dur. cam what fuel changes would i need to make.

People go small block because 300s are hard to build up and keep a roof over your head...

If you do decide to tinker with your 300 look for the aluminum cam gears instead of the original composite sawdust crap that came stock.
